Atmosphere: The layer of gasses around the Earth held there by gravity.

Carbon Dioxide: A gas made up of carbon and oxygen that is found in air.

Climate: The average kind of weather at a specific place.

Global warming: The heating up of the Earth’s atmosphere above normal temperatures as a result of extra greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

Greenhouse: A building with glass or plastic walls and roof that is used for growing plants.

Greenhouse gases: Atmospheric gases that trap heat radiating from the Earth. The most common gas is carbon dioxide.
